"Who Do You Buy Your Cars From?"

Some of our vehicles come from trade-ins but most come directly from the manufacture's leasing programs, such as Honda Finance and Toyota Motor Leasing. These factory finance/lease vehicles were originally purchased or leased from the manufacturer. They are some of the cleanest, best cared for used vehicles available. We prefer the lease vehicles for a number of reasons.

• - It is always good to know why a vehicle is being sold. Sometimes private owners sell their cars or trade them in when they know that there is something wrong with them. With off-lease vehicles, it is comforting to know that they are being sold because the lease has expired, and not because there is any problem with them.
• - Lease vehicles are well maintained. Most leasing agreements are very strict and they require the person leasing the car to have all the "Recommended Factory Maintenance" performed. This recommended maintenance often costs the person leasing the car $400 or more. New car buyers are not required to do this recommended maintenance and often fail to have it done.
• - Kids don't lease cars, so these vehicles have been adult owned and responsibly driven.

"Why Should I Buy an Extended Warranty? This is One of the Most Reliable Vehicles Made."

All cars require repairs, and the warranties that we offer are so inexpensive that they just make good sense. For about $340 a year these GMAC warranties cover over 4,000 parts including the complex air bag system safety systems, and optional equipment such as moonroofs, heated leather seats, and multi-disc CD players.

"What is the Current Interest Rate on Auto Loans?"

We partner with credit unions and major financial institutions who compete to provide the lowest interest rate for our customers. We just got 3.99% for one of our customers. But the interest rate on your loan will be entirely dependent on your personal credit rating. "What if I Have Already Been Pre-Approved for a Loan?"

If you already have financing arranged we can do everything over the telephone. All we need is your lender's contact information so we can fax over the necessary documents. Call us to get started.

"What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?"

We accept credit cards for deposits only, not for full payment. For full payment we accept, cash in-person, bank wire transfers, Cashier's checks and some bank checks. Please call us for approval on your check.

"What Other Fees Are There at the Time of Purchase?"

At other car dealerships the customer is often surprised at the last minute with the news that there are extra fees of $200 to $300 (sometimes called "Preparation Charges" or "Documentation Fees") which have been added to the previously negotiated price of the vehicle. At Top Quality Motors there are no hidden - secret charges.

"Will You Hold a Car for Me?"

Yes. With a $100 deposit we will hold any car for 7 days to give our customers time to get financing in place. Deposits are non-refundable and can be done over the phone with a credit card.

"Do You Provide Temporary License Plates for the Drive Home?"

Yes we do. We provide all buyers with a Temporary License that is good for 30 days.

"I am an Out of State Buyer. Do I Pay Missouri Taxes When I Buy the Vehicle?"

No you don't. There are no taxes due when you buy the car. You will pay taxes in your home state when you title your vehicle.

"If I Live in the State of Missouri When do I Pay My Taxes? How Much Will they Be?"

After purchasing your vehicle you have 30 days to title it. Taxes must be paid when it is titled. The amount of sales tax you owe is based on the sales tax rate of the municipality in which you live. "I Do Not Have Time to Fly in to Columbia, MO and Pick Up My Car. I Would Like it Shipped to Me. How Does that Work?"

It is very simple. After you have signed all the sales documents and we have received full payment for the car we will release it to the shipping company. The shipping company then transports it to your location. Vehicles usually arrive in 7 to 14 days. Shipping within 100 miles is free. Call for a quote on shipping to your location.

Do You Take Trade-Ins?

"Should I Donate My Old Car to Charity?"

You can turn your old car into a tax deduction. Donating your car allows you to help in the important work of the charity of your choice and provides you with a tax reduction for the value of your vehicle. Free towing is usually included if needed. Contact your accountant about eligibility.
